Too Blessed to stressed

Have you ever think life’s not fair?
No no, I mean not like you’re having terrible accident and lost one of your beloved ones, or lost one of your eyes etc.

I’m just talking in the sight of when you actually already have all you need to live on, such as house, clothes, foods, etc, but looking to someone else who has the same thing as yours but they have the more high end side of what you have.
what does it feels like? do you ever, even in the slightest amount felt jealous? wishing you will also can buy what they buy easily, without having to save for months?

I did, and sometimes I also feel it today too, but it doesn’t mean I have to keep those kind of thinking kept hanging in my head. NO!

Jesus said that He takes care of us, so we don’t have to worry about what to eat or wear. is that even possible?
Yes it is! that doesn’t mean we don’t need to work, just sitting idly at home, do nothing and waiting for God to feed us. No it’s not like that

We still need to develop our resources with all our might. Just as Paul said to young Timothy, to throw himself to the work and gift that has been given to him, so he won’t be ashamed to stand before the Lord when He come. Yet when people of this world do it with an anxious heart, with a lustful heart, with “love for money”, we God’s own children need to do it without worry, with a glad heart, joyful heart, knowing all our works won’t be in vain ( 1 Cor 15:58)

For it is the blessings of the Lord that makes people rich, and He adds no sorrow with it – Proverbs 10:22
no sorrow for me means no regret as if someone who work day and night without stopping and come to neglect his health, his family, his relationship with God and all his beloved ones.

I truly believe that we are given the power from above to life a balanced life, to keep working as for the Lord, do our job in our own fields, without compensating for the most important things which is our relationship with God and others.

1 Timothy 6:6-10 The Message (MSG)
6-8 A devout life does bring wealth, but it’s the rich simplicity of being yourself before God. Since we entered the world penniless and will leave it penniless, if we have bread on the table and shoes on our feet, that’s enough.
9-10 But if it’s only money these leaders are after, they’ll self-destruct in no time. Lust for money brings trouble and nothing but trouble. Going down that path, some lose their footing in the faith completely and live to regret it bitterly ever after.

we must remember when we look up and see people that we think are more blessed than us, we also need to keep balanced to look down. see around! do you see anyone who is hurting? do you see anyone who doesn’t know what to eat tonight? simply because they don’t have it? do you care enough to reach out to them and fulfill their stomach even just one time?
or would you keep standing still? stay indifferent to their needs? and keep sulking in self pity “why can’t I buy that dress, when she could afford it just easy?”, “why must I use loans for motorcycle, when he can buy those racing cars?”

Matthew 25:40
New International Version (NIV)

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

Then, what we’re going to do?
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matt 6:33

God is faithful to His Words, even when we are not (2 Tim 2:13), so we can rest assured that He will fulfill our needs, even to abundance

2 Corinthians 9:6-15 New International Version (NIV)
Generosity Encouraged

6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 9 As it is written:
“They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor;
their righteousness endures forever.”[a]
10 Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. 11 You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

Keep working as for the Lord, keep being joyful in all you do, keep sharing what God entrusted you with, and keep enjoying what He has in store for you!

Would love to hear your comments ^^
Have a blessed day

Prisoner of hope

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. (James 1:12 NIV)

No matter what you are facing today, remember to persevere because even though there seems to be no way, our Father still sees a way out

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13 NIV)

What are we to do then in the midst of our problems?
1. Put or hope in Him, not in ourselves, not in anyone else, not in situations, and praise Him

Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. (Psalm 42:11 NIV)

Praise Him for His goodness, praise Him for His faithfulness, keep reminding yourselves about wonderful things He has done in your life

2. and call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.” (Psalm 50:15 NIV)

3. Do what you need to do, and trust Him (acknowledge) to do what you can’t do

Trust in the lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. (Proverbs 3:5, 6 NLT)

Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. (Proverbs 3:5, 6 AMP)

4. Wait on the Lord

But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired. [Heb. 12:1-3.] (Isaiah 40:31 AMP)

Keep up the good attitude coz God’s favor is coming your way, He is a Father who longs to bless His children, but He want to make sure those blessings don’t destroy us, He wants us to be mature enough, to be a faithful servant, whom He can entrusted His blessings without them dragging us down to the path of death.

Return to the stronghold [of security and prosperity], you prisoners of hope; even today do I declare that I will restore double your former prosperity to you. [Ps. 40:2; Isa. 40:2.] (Zechariah 9:12 AMP)

I am ALIVE, are you?

Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, Because we know that Christ (the Anointed One), being once raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has power over Him.
For by the death He died, He died to sin [ending His relation to it] once for all; and the life that He lives, He is living to God [in unbroken fellowship with Him].
Even so consider yourselves also dead to sin and your relation to it broken, but alive to God [living in unbroken fellowship with Him] in Christ Jesus.
Let not sin therefore rule as king in your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies, to make you yield to its cravings and be subject to its lusts and evil passions.
Do not continue offering or yielding your bodily members [and faculties] to sin as instruments (tools) of wickedness. But offer and yield yourselves to God as though you have been raised from the dead to [perpetual] life, and your bodily members [and faculties] to God, presenting them as implements of righteousness. For sin shall not [any longer] exert dominion over you, since now you are not under Law [as slaves], but under grace [as subjects of God’s favor and mercy]. (Romans 6:8-14 AMP)

I am no longer subject to sin and its consequences for Jesus has ransomed me, therefore…

Your life is a journey you must travel with a deep consciousness of God. It cost God plenty to get you out of that dead-end, empty-headed life you grew up in. He paid with Christ’s sacred blood, you know. He died like an unblemished, sacrificial lamb. And this was no afterthought. Even though it has only lately—at the end of the ages—become public knowledge, God always knew he was going to do this for you. It’s because of this sacrificed Messiah, whom God then raised from the dead and glorified, that you trust God, that you know you have a future in God. (1 Peter 1:18-21 MSG)

I am a new creation! Given a second chance! And decide by the grace of God in Christ Jesus, that I won’t live my life unworthy of Christ sacrifice ever more.

How about you? Would you like to believe and be saved? Do you want to REALLY ALIVE, not just barely exist?
I invite you to pray this prayer: Lord Jesus, i am a sinner, i know I’m not worthy for Your sacrifice, and I cannot save myself, i need You. Come Lord Jesus, into my heart, be my only Lord and Savior. I receive Your grace and Salvation in Your Name. Amen

If you truly from your heart pray this prayer, congrats! Your life is with Him now, and you definitely have a future in God!

Thank You Jesus, where would I be if not for Your grace…

God bless

The power behind the word ALL

This small word “ALL” can be easy enough to be forgotten, yet hold such a wondrous strength within itself in meaning. The word “ALL” changes everything when you put it in its proper place in a sentence.

Romans 11:36

36 For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. [For all things originate with Him and come from Him; all things live through Him, and all things center in and tend to consummate and to end in Him.] To Him be glory forever! Amen (so be it).

Eph 4:6 (NIV)

one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

1 Pet 5:7 (AMP)

Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you.

1 Cor 10:31 (NIV)

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Do you see it (All)? Don’t us tend to overlook this powerful word?

He knows ALL things, He has ALL powers, He is the Creator of ALL, He is the Ruler of ALL, He is King over ALL, He is OVER ALL, THROUGH ALL and IN ALL!

He knows ALL your weakness, He understands ALL your fear, anxieties, whatever you can mention, He holds ALL answer to your questions, prayers, anything. He loves you with ALL the love you long for….. this can goes on and on  and on (and I think ALL has no limitation, or has it? the limit is…. ALL there is)

and only Him can fulfill ALL your needs! yes He may do that with people, yes He may reach you through your loved ones, yes He might have approached you with His blessings, but the bottomline is HE works THROUGH ALL of it.

I once read a wonderful statement, and I might have missed it unless I took some time to ponder its meaning.

It sounds like this:

“Give God your ALL, and let HIM be your ALL in ALL”

let the very dear one who reads this post, also ponder its meaning in your own life!

A MAN FROM BEYOND (part 2)

Now we come to the second part…

1st choice is to offer your victory for God.

This represented by Abram offering a tenth of everything He had and got form the victory, because Melchizedek, king of Salem (Salem means Shalom, or peace) came to him and brought bread and wine, which referred to Jesus.

2nd one is king of Sodom, who offered all kind of wealth

Most of the people when they get promotion, when they got what they want, all money, power, etc, they tend to just enjoy everything without a single thought pass about giving it back to God, or even to share what they got with others who are in need.

But Abram is different, he chose to give it back to God, and presented tithe to Melchizedek. Why? Because he is A MAN FROM BEYOND.

After Abram chose God over “things”, the reward was at once from God.  (the Bible said that in Genesis 15, just after Abram refused Sodom’s offer)

It has been said in Genesis 15:1

After this, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision:

“Do not be afraid, Abram.
    I am your shield,[a]
    your very great reward.[b]

GOD TOLD ABRAM THAT HE HIMSELF is his SHIELD, and Abram’s reward will be great

But the thing is, this kind of chance does not happen twice. Once you lost the moment, it won’t be coming back, and you will miss the destiny God has set up for you.

We will also learn from Gideon’s son, Yeter.

Judges 8:20-21

20 And he (Gideon) said unto Jether his firstborn, Up , and slay them. But the youth drew not his sword: for he feared , because he was yet a youth. 21 Then Zebah and Zalmunna said , Rise thou, and fallupon us: for as the man is, so is his strength. And Gideon arose , and slew Zebah and Zalmunna, and took away the ornaments that were on their camels’ necks

At that time, execution can be made by 2 kinds of people. First is the person who has a direct relationship to the one who will be executed, but the second is by a person who has the same level with the one who will be executed.  Zebah and Salmuna were kings, so the one who had the right to kill them is Gideon, the king himself, right? But Gideon gave a chance to his firstborn Yeter to increase from “king’s son” level to “king” level, by giving him chance to kill “kings”. But Yeter was afraid, because he is young. So because he didn’t take this chance, his destiny to increase to a new level had lost forever.

Do you let your fear get the best of you? Or you take chances you believe God has put in your paths, and willing to take the risk?

Another story would be about Peter. In Acts 10

9 The next day, as they were on their way and coming near Joppa, Peter went up on the roof of the house about noon in order to pray. 10 He became hungry and wanted something to eat; while the food was being prepared, he had a vision. 11 He saw heaven opened and something coming down that looked like a large sheet being lowered by its four corners to the earth. 12 In it were all kinds of animals, reptiles, and wild birds. 13 A voice said to him, “Get up, Peter; kill and eat!” 14 But Peter said, “Certainly not, Lord! I have never eaten anything ritually unclean or defiled.” 15 The voice spoke to him again, “Do not consider anything unclean that God has declared clean.” 16 This happened three times, and then the thing was taken back up into heaven. 17 While Peter was wondering about the meaning of this vision, the men sent by Cornelius had learned where Simon’s house was, and they were now standing in front of the gate.

Peter had a dream that angel told him to eat “haram” things, until 3 times, Peter said NO LORD NO. why? Because I am a Jew. But he realized later (pls read the rest of the story) that he had made mistakes because he shouldn’t say NO, to what God had said YES. And because of it, he lost his destiny to go to the lost in Gentiles, even though he is a great apostle indeed. And as we all know, his position as an apostle to the gentiles has been replaced by Paul. We also know that Paul’s letters constitute the majority of New testaments we read today.

Can you see it? Peter has destiny to be Christ apostle either for Jews (50%) and for Gentiles (50%), but he lost his chance and it was given to Paul, so he only got 50% rather than 100% fulfillment of his destiny in Christ, what a pity? Isn’t it?

If we want to receive Abraham’s blessings as his descendants like what God has promised, we also need to be ready to accept any “assignment” just like Abraham

(its immature for us to want the blessings with an attitude of want nothing to do with the responsibilities)

When God told Abraham to GO, the Bible is actually using “lehleha” word in Hebrew. (i’m not really sure about the spelling, pls forgive me for that).

Lehleha means:

  1. A person who God bring from the lowest level to the highest level
  2. A person who has a teachable spirit

in Bible this “lehleha” word only used TWICE! first is when God spoke to Abraham to GO from his native/mother land to the land of Canaan which God has promised to give it to him. and the second one is in the GREAT COMMISSION of Jesus in Matthew 28:19-20

19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Are you ready? ready to accept the “assignment” and receive “greatness” (your reward will be great, Gen 15:1)?

Let us all be a man/woman from beyond who does not got shaped along with our degrading culture, but shine, be different, be qualified to receive all He has prepared for us to have!

GBU guys

A MAN FROM BEYOND (part 1)

A man from the other side…

Often we say about ourselves that we are who we are, because….

Our parents treat us badly

We come from a broken home environment

We have a foul temperament rising up from our own dad or mom

And we can never change! Really? NO

Your life depends on your choice! You don’t have to be temperamental even if your father is, you don’t have to be spoiled child even if you came from a wealthy family. Stop making excuses and be brave enough to be “a man from beyond”. What does it mean? A man from beyond literally means a man comes from the other side, right? But it actually is! Maybe most of people in your community speak bad words, or performing some tricks to get promoted with using others as their stepping stones, but YOU? No, even you live in a community like that, you have different qualities, you are different from the rest, you don’t get in the flow and just do as people around you would behave. You have those special qualities, so that even though you came from a broken home family, you have no attitude of bitterness, and you have no attitude of hatred.

Abraham is one of the “a man from beyond”. Even he has been “cheated” by his nephew, Lot, but when his nephew got in trouble (read Genesis), Abram was ready to save him, and finally he won the battle! After he won the battle, 2 kings came to him in the King’s Valley

Gen14:17-22

17 After Abram returned from defeating Kedorlaomer and the kings allied with him, the king of Sodom came out to meet him in the Valley of Shaveh (that is, the King’s Valley).

Image

18 Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine.He was priest of God Most High, 19 and he blessed Abram, saying,

“Blessed be Abram by God Most High,
Creator of heaven and earth.
20 And praise be to God Most High,
who delivered your enemies into your hand.”

Then Abram gave him a tenth of everything.

21 The king of Sodom said to Abram, “Give me the people and keep the goods for yourself.”

22 But Abram said to the king of Sodom, “With raised hand I have sworn an oath to the Lord, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth, 23 that I will accept nothing belonging to you, not even a thread or the strap of a sandal, so that you will never be able to say, ‘I made Abram rich.’

We also face battle every single day in our life. Do you know who our enemies are? Yes first of course is the devil, and second is our flesh. Whenever we face battle and then win, one of two choices should be made (just like Abram)

what are those choices? (go to part 2)
