Too Blessed to stressed

Have you ever think life’s not fair?
No no, I mean not like you’re having terrible accident and lost one of your beloved ones, or lost one of your eyes etc.

I’m just talking in the sight of when you actually already have all you need to live on, such as house, clothes, foods, etc, but looking to someone else who has the same thing as yours but they have the more high end side of what you have.
what does it feels like? do you ever, even in the slightest amount felt jealous? wishing you will also can buy what they buy easily, without having to save for months?

I did, and sometimes I also feel it today too, but it doesn’t mean I have to keep those kind of thinking kept hanging in my head. NO!

Jesus said that He takes care of us, so we don’t have to worry about what to eat or wear. is that even possible?
Yes it is! that doesn’t mean we don’t need to work, just sitting idly at home, do nothing and waiting for God to feed us. No it’s not like that

We still need to develop our resources with all our might. Just as Paul said to young Timothy, to throw himself to the work and gift that has been given to him, so he won’t be ashamed to stand before the Lord when He come. Yet when people of this world do it with an anxious heart, with a lustful heart, with “love for money”, we God’s own children need to do it without worry, with a glad heart, joyful heart, knowing all our works won’t be in vain ( 1 Cor 15:58)

For it is the blessings of the Lord that makes people rich, and He adds no sorrow with it – Proverbs 10:22
no sorrow for me means no regret as if someone who work day and night without stopping and come to neglect his health, his family, his relationship with God and all his beloved ones.

I truly believe that we are given the power from above to life a balanced life, to keep working as for the Lord, do our job in our own fields, without compensating for the most important things which is our relationship with God and others.

1 Timothy 6:6-10 The Message (MSG)
6-8 A devout life does bring wealth, but it’s the rich simplicity of being yourself before God. Since we entered the world penniless and will leave it penniless, if we have bread on the table and shoes on our feet, that’s enough.
9-10 But if it’s only money these leaders are after, they’ll self-destruct in no time. Lust for money brings trouble and nothing but trouble. Going down that path, some lose their footing in the faith completely and live to regret it bitterly ever after.

we must remember when we look up and see people that we think are more blessed than us, we also need to keep balanced to look down. see around! do you see anyone who is hurting? do you see anyone who doesn’t know what to eat tonight? simply because they don’t have it? do you care enough to reach out to them and fulfill their stomach even just one time?
or would you keep standing still? stay indifferent to their needs? and keep sulking in self pity “why can’t I buy that dress, when she could afford it just easy?”, “why must I use loans for motorcycle, when he can buy those racing cars?”

Matthew 25:40
New International Version (NIV)

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

Then, what we’re going to do?
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matt 6:33

God is faithful to His Words, even when we are not (2 Tim 2:13), so we can rest assured that He will fulfill our needs, even to abundance

2 Corinthians 9:6-15 New International Version (NIV)
Generosity Encouraged

6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 9 As it is written:
“They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor;
their righteousness endures forever.”[a]
10 Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. 11 You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

Keep working as for the Lord, keep being joyful in all you do, keep sharing what God entrusted you with, and keep enjoying what He has in store for you!

Would love to hear your comments ^^
Have a blessed day

How do we love?

1 John 4:16

And we know (understand, recognize, are conscious of, by observation and by experience) and believe (adhere to and put faith in and rely on) the love God cherishes for us. God is love, and he who dwells and continues in love dwells and continues in God, and God dwells and continues in him.

“Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth” 1 John 3:18

how do you show His love from within you today?

Many ways we can show love, and I just want to share so it can bless and give some ideas or insight how we can bless and reach out to someone today.

praying for the loved ones, fulfill their needs, by listening to their story instead of insisting my own belief to them, by correcting them although I know the correction can hurt them, praising their good deeds, cheering them up when they feel down, investing your time for them by chatting, listening, helping, or even cooking for them.

How have you or will you get in the love walk today?

it doesn’t have to be perfect, but as we keep doing our best and keep on loving, the Bible said that God’s love is keep flowing within and through our lives.

God bless^^

ONE at a time

Are you still struggling with the same addiction? Still having a war with bad habits? you wish you can be a better person, someone who has different confidence level, who has different kind of body types, noses, body weight, etcetc… Its a never ending list anyway…

We all have one or more thing we don’t particularly like about ourselves, or maybe it showed itself with the pattern of always having something to complain about our lives… Well, that’s normal, I did that, and sometimes I do fall in the same old pattern, but the good news is we can enjoy our journey, where we are right now, while we’re heading to our goals, to the place where we want to be.
I just wanted to share one or two words of encouragement, for you who accidentally come across my blog, and who knows, maybe somebody out there needs this kind of encouragement?
What is it in your life that you wanna get rid of? The “always late” habit? That belly fat? Those unhealthy, binge eating habit? Whatever, you mention! We always have something to be improved or to change in our lifes for the better, and I do believe that we are well able to do that? Why, you say? Because I believe that God has provided us the strength to live the best life He provided for us by Jesus sacrifice. Jesus didn’t die for us so we can have a mediocre, average, defeated, self rejection life, wouldn’t you agree?
For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:13 NLT)
The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. (John 10:10 NLT)
We need to take ONE DAY AT A TIME. But if I translate it to our topic it would be, ONE HABIT AT A TIME. Start with one habit, and work on it, diligently, daily, until you get the result you want.
For that to take place, we need to keep good perspective on OUR JOURNEY. And what is it? Keep thinking about the goal, keep thinking for the slim you, the patient you, the punctual you, the nicer you. Its important for us not to think about how overwhelming our bad habits had taken us? What should be sacrificed, and how hurtful it will be? No, none of them is equally important to what God has in store for you, none of them is worth to be compared to how great your life would be if you develop those good habits.
For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. (2 Corinthians 4:17, 18 NLT)
Right now I’m also developing new habit to drink only water, or non sweetened beverages for most days of the week. I’ve been wanting to develop healthy habits but never have enough courage and determination to finish it. But knowing this truth sets me free. I don’t have to burden myself with so overwhelming bad habits list that need to be changed, but I just need to take one habit at a time, and use the strength God gives me one day at a time.
“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. (Matthew 6:34 NLT)
What about you? Are you ready to change ONE HABIT AT A TIME? Are you ready for the rich and satisfying life in front of you? I hope so, and pray so.
God bless

Prisoner of hope

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. (James 1:12 NIV)

No matter what you are facing today, remember to persevere because even though there seems to be no way, our Father still sees a way out

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13 NIV)

What are we to do then in the midst of our problems?
1. Put or hope in Him, not in ourselves, not in anyone else, not in situations, and praise Him

Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. (Psalm 42:11 NIV)

Praise Him for His goodness, praise Him for His faithfulness, keep reminding yourselves about wonderful things He has done in your life

2. and call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.” (Psalm 50:15 NIV)

3. Do what you need to do, and trust Him (acknowledge) to do what you can’t do

Trust in the lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. (Proverbs 3:5, 6 NLT)

Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. (Proverbs 3:5, 6 AMP)

4. Wait on the Lord

But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired. [Heb. 12:1-3.] (Isaiah 40:31 AMP)

Keep up the good attitude coz God’s favor is coming your way, He is a Father who longs to bless His children, but He want to make sure those blessings don’t destroy us, He wants us to be mature enough, to be a faithful servant, whom He can entrusted His blessings without them dragging us down to the path of death.

Return to the stronghold [of security and prosperity], you prisoners of hope; even today do I declare that I will restore double your former prosperity to you. [Ps. 40:2; Isa. 40:2.] (Zechariah 9:12 AMP)

Insecurity attack? What to do?

Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don’t be impressed with yourself. Don’t compare yourself with others. Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life. (Galatians 6:4, 5 MSG)

But let every person carefully scrutinize and examine and test his own conduct and his own work. He can then have the personal satisfaction and joy of doing something commendable [in itself alone] without [resorting to] boastful comparison with his neighbor. For every person will have to bear (be equal to understanding and calmly receive) his own [little] load [of oppressive faults]. (Galatians 6:4, 5 AMP)

We’re not, understand, putting ourselves in a league with those who boast that they’re our superiors. We wouldn’t dare do that. But in all this comparing and grading and competing, they quite miss the point. We aren’t making outrageous claims here. We’re sticking to the limits of what God has set for us. But there can be no question that those limits reach to and include you. We’re not moving into someone else’s “territory.” We were already there with you, weren’t we? We were the first ones to get there with the Message of Christ, right? So how can there be any question of overstepping our bounds by writing or visiting you? (2 Corinthians 10:12-14 MSG)

Have you ever feel insecure? What did you do then? Trying to do more? Trying to be more like others? Or are you focusing on what you have been given and take responsibility to do your creative best with your own life, without comparing yourselves with others?

I encourage you to receive this awesomely freeing Truth!

Then Jesus turned to the Jews who had claimed to believe in him. “If you stick with this, living out what I tell you, you are my disciples for sure. Then you will experience for yourselves the truth, and the truth will free you.” (John 8:31, 32 MSG)

We won’t let our souls be burdened and bound with any useless things anymore right?

What is your story? And what did you do to overcome them? I would like to listen to them

Have a blessed day!

Be yourself and don’t be afraid to step out

okay so it’s been a very long while since i’ve been writing in this blog

miss it:p haha

for so long i thought if I can’t do it perfectly, -okay not literally perfect, but you know what I mean, like how to get my writings interesting, or how should I get more attracting etc etc – then it would be better not to do it at all.

fear of rejection, fear of not getting people’s approval, fear of losing yourself to someone

okay, come on, i know these thoughts are or were in our thoughts one way or another right?

but not long, after I heard a sermon preached by Joyce Meyer, one of my favourite Bible preacher, I am freed from these bondage (again), thank God for being so patient with me

I would like to share some of the principles from it, soooo how many of us after hearing a sermon, or after reading the Bible, felt something in our hearts, that ” Okay, that’s the part I’ve been wrong, so I NEED TO CHANGE! “???

but then, when I try to change my self with will power, no matter how much I tried, I still get stuck!

Okay I admit that I would still make some changes, but then, it stucked, and then I gave up, too tired to continue the journey, and then actually I’m going back to the place where I said “I NEED TO CHANGE”

gosh, that was tiring and upsetting, right?

but then I heard some of God’s principle about it, the principle I couldn’t live without, and cannot go around and saying ” I want to change” before remembering and pondering these principles first!

1. God loves me unconditionally

2. I am made right with God because of what Jesus has done for me, not because of my own performance

3. My sins have been forgiven

4. He has a great plan for me and will never give up on me (Fil 1:6)

Therefore I need to grow and be mature in Him, so He can “entrust” me with His abundance blessing

-cmon, it’s because of His love, He doesn’t give you what you “want” RIGHT NOW, because He knows that it isnt the perfect time, because He knows if He give it to you right now, that very thing will lead you ashtray-

5. If God doesnt do it (change me), it won’t get done

we need to know that God loves, accepts, blesses us not because of our performance, and He knows who I am and He also Knows what I am NOT, He knows all my flaws, weakness, anything I could mention, it would be endless but GOD LOVES ME ANYWAY!

and if we felt something that is wrong from our attitude, then we just need to

1. agree with God

“okay God, i know I have a big mouth and I cannot control it. it kept talking mean things, I know I shouldnt gossip but I just cannot help it, and I don’t know how….” Yes you are! you dont know, but God knows my friend, soooo start smiling! okay I see it, nice!

2. believe in Him

God has forgiven my sins, all of it, perfectly (see 1 Pet 3:18)

3. study God’s word in the section that you lack

you won’t be sticking a band aid if you have a headache or stomachache and soaked them in the cool ice water right?

It doesn’t match, so if we need a deliverance from bitterness, don’t study about 10 steps to success ^^

Study and believe it! believe and confess it! “God i know that I cannot change my self, if You don’t change me inwardly, I cannot ever ever change”

all our “try” and our “works” need to be done WITH HIM and NOT APART from Him

“apart from Me, you can do NOTHING” JOhn 15:5

so, let’s us start applying these principles, and believe God more, do what we need to do WITH Him, not with our own willpower, and experience His freedom….

“you will know the Truth and the Truth will SET YOU FREE” John 8:31

and remember, whenever you feel overburdened and tired,… maybe you need to step back and wait on Him more

“but those who WAIT ON THE LORD, shall RENEW THEIR STRENGTH; they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

Dear all, let’s soar WITH HIM and NOT APART FROM HIM…

God Bless^^
