Do you enjoy and feel overwhelmed by the privilege granted for you? or are you taking them all for granted?
when we all become first born again, we experienced that kind of feeling: grateful, happy, joyful just because we know we are precious in One’s eyes, we have been loved unconditionally, yet as the time goes, we tend to take them just for granted, becoming blase about it.
but, what does God’s word says about it?
We need to be full of vigor (I Tes 5:16) since we know that His love and mercy always new every morning (Lam 3:22-23). He longs to surprise you with His goodness (Isa 61:10). Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all of the days of my life (Psalm 23:6).
but how? how can we be in state of excitement every day? since we doing same old routines every single day?
one of the secret I find of doing so is TO FACE TODAY’S CHALLENGE JUST FOR TODAY. we need to take in our minds and hearts that tomorrow has its own difficulties. (Mat 6:34). so I have determined every single day I wake up, I come to God’s feet and let He pours down His love, mercy, and grace to help me face today, and I put my hopes in prayer and declare it: “at least for TODAY I will be joyful in Him, I am excited of what He will bring to my life TODAY, and what kind of blessings could I be for someone God puts in my path TODAY.”
Then what about tomorrow? Then tomorrow I will pray the same prayer, and get everything I need from Him to face the day.
“For I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength” Phil 4:13
“You shall also DECIDE and DECREE a thing and it shall be established for you, and the light of God’s favor shall shine upon your ways.” Job 22:28 (AMP)
So its possible to be excited about EACH day, right?
God speaks and He lives
